Listen to This is an octet of the area’s most talented jazz musicians who bring the early electric music of Miles back to life. That period featured some of Miles’s most enthralling, groundbreaking, and funk and rock infused music - a jazz style that never seems to grow old and this ensemble recreates that sound in a way that is pretty much guaranteed to blow you away. “Listen to This”, featuring the likes of bandleader Jerome Deupree (Morphine), Dave Bryant (Ornette Coleman) and Russ Gershon (Either/Orchestra, Lookie-Lookie), have inspired standing ovations at all 3 of their previous appearances at the Distillery. => In A Silent Way
