Saturday: Miles Davis’s early electric music was an enthralling, groundbreaking, funk and rock infused jazz style that never grows old. And this octet “Listen to This”, featuring such great local talent as Jerome Deupree (Morphine), Dave Bryant (Ornette Coleman) and Russ Gershon (Either/Orchestra, Lookie-Lookie), recreates that sound in a way that is pretty much guaranteed to blow you away.
