Friday: A Midsummer Night’s Bugalu
Russ Gershon’s 8 member band Lookie Lookie makes you feel like you are part of an awesome summertime dance party in a beautiful square in downtown Havana. They are inspired by the likes of Buena Vista Social Club and Eddie Palmieri. And if that isn’t enough on its own - there will be a opening act featuring the debut performance of a new band of music veterans (Bim Skala Bim) called Swampanova - melding bossa nova, Caribbean grooves and a laid back, almost Grateful Dead-like rock vibe.
